What Rears?
Trying to determine which rears I have in my 2000 Z71 Silverado. I know I have the G80 in the rear. Considering going deeper with the gearing and want to order the right R&P's. Appreciate any help.

Check your RPO code in the glovebox. GT5 is a 4:10 and GT4 is a 3:73.

Jim,
More interested in the style or type of rears in my truck. I'll have a look at the RPO codes but I'm trying to determine if I have the 8.5 ring gear rear, etc.. I want to order new ring and pinions but don't know what my rears are referred to as. Thanks.

1500, 2500 or 3500? Have you thought about adding your truck information to your signature so everyone knows what model talking about? You will get a lot more replies if you do.
