Default New guy from Austin, TX

Hey, someone else referred me here, I'm Matt. I just got an 03 1500 Z71 with the 5.3 and 85k on the ticker. I got it for a new daily driver and to tow my ranger around.

I'm not new to forums, been around them for years now. Just lookin to get some tech on the Chevy and meet some people.

Here's some of the truck, nothing special. I want to get a big ass trans cooler and a scan gauge. Thinking about tossing a 4L80E in there and a SF 14b rear axle.

And some of the Ranger. Its a turd, needs a ton of work to make up for the abuse its taken over the years. Spooled D44 front, Posi 9" rear, 5.13s and 35s.

Welcome to the club!

The Silverado has potential trust me, all it takes is lot's of money. That Ranger is totally awesome, I always wanted my S-10 to look like that but it takes lot's of fab work especially when they don't make anything for them.

haha, i know all about "lots of money" to get something to do what I want.. And they don't make jack for the ranger either.. The steering box is from a 95 Four Runner, springs are from a wagoneer, axles are from an F150...
