    Hello all,
I have a 2002 GMC Sonoma that is throwing a p0300 and i have literally done everything that I could think of or that has been recommended by others. Its cylinders 1&4 that are misfiring. I took it to the dealership and they said it needed to be rebuilt because of a low end knock. Well i had it rebuilt and it is still doing the same thing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! here is what i have done so far
    - Spider injector replaced
    - Distributor, cap, button
    - plugs and wires
    -Ignition control Module
    - Ignition Coil
    - Crankshaft postion Sensor
    - Cleaned MAF
    - Upper intake gasket set

I am so lost and have so much in it now that i can't just quit on it, thanks in advance for any help!! have a blessed day

You had the engine torn down and completely rebuilt?????

Is this on top of the rebuild, or is this what has been done? Sorry, your statements are a little contradictory.

Yes sorry about that all of that on top of a rebuild.

Wow, ok, that should eliminate a low compression problem.

    I4 engine, or the V6

Is it possible, the problem has been fixed and not cleared from the PCM.

    A P0300 is a random mis-fire, how do you know it's 1 and 4?

Its the V-6 , and my friend has an OBD II scanner that displays all your engine data and also has a misfire counter. The SES light flashes when at cruising speeds.
