Could anyone tell me (pics would help) where the front jack point (for an 03 Impala) for using a floor jack is located? The manual only show the side jack points and I would like to use a floor jack and stands. I recently purchased the vehicle and wanted to do an oil change on it. Thanks.

Try these locations in back and front of the wheels. But I jack my 2001 in the positions of number 1 and 6. Hope this helps.

I did see this on a different post but I think he was asking for jack points on a G6. That wouldn't be an issue? I did try placing the jack on the frame behind the rubber flashing but wasn't sure if that was a good location since I started hearing some cracking, lol.

oh, and yeah. I am using a 2-ton jack. Is that good enough? I am surprised on how heavy the car is.

Yeah that is what I use. They didn't really give any good areas for a jack to be placed. But I have used those areas to jack up and do my work on my impala.
