One week old battery drains after 8 hours (nothing left on to drain it). Slow cranking & Weak starting, dash panel does not light up with warning lites & gauges after struck starts, but 15 seconds after truck does start, they come on & truck runs fine allday. Any ideas out there?

with a voltmeter measure the voltage across the battery engine on all lights on ac/heater on max. .... check / clean all connections including the grounds.

with the engine off measure the drain current on the ground side of the battery. if you have some remove the alternator output wire to see if the alternator is causing the battery drain.

make sure all interior lights radio etc are not on ...or aftermarket installed equipment.

Do you have any aftermarket accessories installed? If so, which?

Thanks ALL!!! Turned out to be a relay in the power seats AND the heater blower motor. I also had to replace the Starter (after I broke off a bolt).
