I have a 2005 Yukon XL, The vibrates at 40 and 70 mph. U joints have been replaced the tires have been balanced and rotated. Occasionally and sporatically I hear a slapping noise in the undercarriage. Please Help! Thanks

    Welcome to the club!!!

Did you mark the driveshaft before you removed it? If not then it is out of position, the driveshaft is balanced and installed a certain way. As far as the slapping noise I don't know, hopefully someone else can chime in.

Thanks for the info, this shaft has yolks welded on both ends, so I done believe it can get out of time? One end bolts to the rear pinion, and one has a spline going it the transfer case.
