I am trying to get aux power to my 7 pin rear plug for charging trailer batteries, so I installed the 40 amp fuse and connected the red/blk wire from the wiring harness between the fuse box and fender well to stud 1. I am getting a good voltage reading at stud 1 in the front of the fuse panel after 40 amp fuse was installed but when I go to the rear bumper and check the voltage in the 7 pin plug I get 0.00. Any suggestions Please help.
