Will i be able to run 18x9 rims with a -12mm offset and 4.5" backspace on my 2500HD with leveling kit and 33" tires (285/65/18)?

I have a 2008 silverado Z71 I just bought 33/12.50r18 toyo mt tires with rims with +30 0ffset and they rub on the upper control arm because of the width I was told to stay close to factory offset but the wider tire got me. I dont think what you want will work will I think they will rub even with the smaller width tire you are wanting They will probably hit the outside of fender well with that much negative offset

yea they will fit. You will have to trim some plastic. But they will be the same size as your 285/75/16. You could also possibly fit 305/60/18s.

how is the ride with the shorter sidewall tires? Does it really make a difference?

Its a lot harsher ride when you have a leveling kit with 18s and 33s. SHakes you to death when your on a real bumpy road. Would recommend to invest in some aftermarket shocks

Look at my thread......mine are the same size you are asking about and -11 offset. The only difference is that mine is a GMC.

i see ur thread bob the wheels look cool. Does the 2500 differ from the 1500 in space wise? Also has anyone seen diamo 17k 18x9s cause all i see are 18x10s and the diamo website says they make 18x9s.
