    Hi there,
The truck I grew up with, the one I learned to drive in, was a 1980 Chevy Silverado 4x4 longbox with a 350 4bbl.

I remember it being a very nice looking machine, with lots of compliments to the owner, my Dad.

It had all the bells and whistles, and two tone paint job...gold on the inside, and dark brown on the outside.

Here's what I need help with: Dad said that it was a special edition...a 75th anniversary Saskatchewan package that Chevrolet had put together.

According to him, Chev put together a Manitoba and an Alberta edition as well in 1980.

Any info or gossip, or similar memories would be great.

Sounds like a Upfitter or Dealer pkg. Maybe they put on some stickers and extra Chrome.. Do you have any pics you can upload?

Sadly, I have no pictures. I do remember a sticker on the rear of the box.
