I have an 86 K3500 with a 6.2l diesel that won't start. The power cable from the battery to the starter melted on the manifold and shorted out the starter. I replaced the starter and rerouted a new battery cable but it won't turn over now. If you turn the key I get no lights on the dash, no buzzer, no glow plugs. I'm curious if I could have fried the ignition module, or if I have an ignition module and where that may be. Battery is good the headlights work an I can even lift the dump body and plow so I know have plenty of juice. I really need help any input is welcomed.

Check all fuses - with a meter.

Check the wires going to the ignition switch, and the switch itself.
