Greetings, anyone have a good set of instructions for the timing chain R & R on my Sub?
What would be the best manual to buy, if i have to get one?
    Thanks,

I basic Haynes or Chilton manual should give you enough data to change it. Pay careful attention to the instructions on setting the engine to cyl #1 TDC before doing the work and the alignment of the dots on the gears on installation.

Are you sure you need to change your timing chain? They usually don't stretch or break.

I have several posts regarding the excessive pinging on my sub. I pulled the timing cover off and at TDC (the finger in the #1 hole method) the cam looks like it is 180 out. Just wanted to verify what is going on there.

Are you sure that you are on the compression stroke? each piston tops out twice, once on compression stroke the other on exhaust stroke. If you have to, pop the valve cover and check the rocker arms on #1. if both valves are closed its the compression stroke. Both Haynes and Chilton's books will have the steps needed to change it out.
