    Guys,
I know there's many transmission issues on the forum of which I searched but I'm going to ask my question so I will have a thorough understanding. My transmission in my 1994 suburban started acting up yesterday. It is very slow shifting out of first. When I come to a complete stop it makes a clunking sound in the rear. Then when I take off it barely moves until it finally shifts into 2nd. From there it's fine but when I come to a stop again, same thing Clunk, Clunk, barely move on take off and then shifts as it should from 2nd on out. Is first gear gone. I don't smell anything burning.
    thanks for your help.
