I have a 1995 silverado and I need to replace the key locking cylinder.I already know how to take the steering column cover off.I have done some reading on how to do this, but I can not find anything on 1995.I do not know which way to turn the key to get the old one out. There is a cable that is on the steering column that is at the left of the key lock and I need to know what that cable goes to and what it does and do I need to remove it to remove the key lock?
