starters are generally 2 bolts. A long and short one, there is a couple wires that are held on by smaller nuts and a washer, pretty simple, sometimes they are a little tricky depending on where its located on the flywheel. I just recently changes out mine on my 99 silverado and took some manuevring and a few choice words to help it along, but from start to finish was still only a 15 min job!
