1999 BURB my rustoluem paint job

    DSCN1409.jpg I just changed the top to black.I painted it about 3 week ago and I gave it qwik buff and wax today..came out pretty good...this beast has 244xxx miles on it ,,still runs strong..I wanted to show this to say the "the 20 $ paint job does exist.

    Grate job. My wife and I did a Honda my Son had a few years back like that. We buffed it out and waxed it. I couldn't believe how good it came out. I have done mirrors and windshield wiper arms like that too. They last for 2 or 3 year before they need a re do.

    This was a "Rattle-can" paint job?
    Very Nice!
    How much prep sanding was needed? And how many cans?
    My 1991 Suburban needs the roof and the hood redone.
    The local tv brand paint shop wants about $2K just to do the roof and hood.
    I found a pretty good "Rattle-can" paint match, "Storm Grey" for the hood and top.
    The roof is a pretty big area to do. I figure at least 6 "Rattle-cans" worth.
