I'm in the process of replacing the clutch opn my 2000 silverado & I got a new clutch kit with the "tool" to remove the braided hydraulic clutch cable that goes on to my gearbox. I am unable to disconnect it even with the tool. I read the directions but the thing won't pull out. I don't want to yank on it & break something. I am a ssuming the connection is like the pneumatic on for air tools ( or hydraulic one for HURST rescue tools) ...push in pull the collar back & pull out. can anyone help?
