Yesterday it was raining here and i drove my truck to the store. its a 2001 silverado 4x2 4.8l with 230k. on a right turn my rear wheel kinda burned tire on the wet asphalt (happens sometimes) and my truck just sat in place burning tire. after i regained traction i continued on my trip to the store but noticed that my speedometer was out of whack. it said i was doing 65mph when i was really doin like 40mph. then my abs and brake light came on in my dash. at around 190k i had both front wheel bearings and speed sensors replaced. what could have caused this to suddenly occur? could rain have gotten into the speed sensors? any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated thanx!!
