I recently purchased a 2002 sierra 1500 crew cab 4x4 with a 5.3 motor.I am going to install a k&n air intake. My question is this,Can i do anything else to increase the lom end power without compromising the durability of the motor.Current mileage is 151,000.Thanks in advance for any suggestions

There are 2 Bolt-on's that will help with gains in H.P and MPG.....and they are Headers & Cat back exhaust....

Depending on your Budget.....a tune either Handheld or Custom will along the items I mentioned above will give your Truck solid Gains in H.P. & M.P.G...

Heartbeat is right, the addition of exhaust will help out with the low end. if you are going to go with header, go ahead and get the LTs. I had shorties on my '02 and wish i'd have sent the extra few $$.
