2002 Suburan ABS Pump Running after Vehicle shut off?

Wife came home tonight and said car is making a funny noise. I went out and I could hear something running, but the car is off. Turned vehicle on and the ABS warning light is on. After a quick internet search, looks like it is the ABS pump this is continuing to run. I take the fuse out that goes with the ABS but whatever it is, is still running. I just unhooked the battery.

Does this indeed sound like a bad ABS module? Why didnt the pump stop operating when the fuse was pulled?

Do the services online that offer to rebuild your module for 130 bucks really a valid option? I see new ones for almost 800 bucks.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

I posted about that same service that does rebuild about ooohhhh 9 months ago and nobody ever commented so I would assume nobody has done it. Either you try it, or you need to unplug that module as it will drain your battery eventually. You will however have to deal with the service brake lights on the dash all the time though.
