    Hello All,
I own a 2003 Silverado 4x4 crew cab and there is an intermittent clicking noise coming from the front end.It sounds like an aluminum can flapping. Now my stepson works as a tech for a Ford Dealership so we put it on a lift and checked it out, eliminating front brakes and the front bearings but what we did notice is that the spline coming from the front diff going to the left front tire has a lot of play to it and the seal is leaking a little bit. So our first decision is going to be replacing the bearings and seal.
So my questions are going to be is this clicking I hear related to what I believe are the bearings and seal going bad or is the clicking something else intirely??
