it could be the stepper motor in the instrument cluster. But, check the code and let us know what it is.

OK so doing some research and came up with a thread from this forum and said to take the evap canister and blow it out. Sounds better. But still concerned on the oil pressure gauge. Checked the oil level and it was good and a good color

Regarding the Stepper Motor for the Oil Gauge, it could be the Sending Unit or Bad Connection, or as mentioned by Pikey and myself it could be the Stepper Motor for your Oil Gauge has gone out/bad......I would lean towards this being the issue, as this is a Common Problem on the 2003" to 2006" Trucks/SUV's Dash Cluster's.......so much so, that Chevy/GM HAD a Special Coverage Adjustment for this Problem with the Stepper Motor's, but Coverage was good for only 7yrs or 70,000 miles,

There are a couple of ways you could go in getting this Problem Fixed, there are company's that do this kind of repair, below are some of these Company's,

Also if your good with doing the repair yourself, below is a Excellent Write-Up, Step by Step Instructions, W/Pictures, on Removing and Installing Stepper Motor's,

I put some seafoam in the engine and gas and see if that by chance clears the code. I will eventually clean the evap canister. When it warms above 25 here. My brother who is a huge gm lover and mechanic had same issue with code and cleared it with fuel cleaner
