I've been dealing with a problem with the engine shutting off when i come to a stop. I can restart it and idles fine. I drive to another stop and the engine shuts off again. I also have a temp gauge that the needle does not move on. Is there a separate temp gauge sending unit or is it part of the coolant temp sensor and the computer. Perhaps the in op temp gauge is the reason why the engine shuts off. Does anyone have a wiring schematic for a this vehicle with a 5.3 engine and any insight into both issues.
