I have a 2005 1500 Silverado 5.3L. I have put the K&N cold air intake (77-3050KP) on it, but I am needing a paper air filter to put on while I let the K&N dry after being oiled. Any ideas?!?!

    Welcome to the club.

Autozone carries specter air filters, which look just like the kn cone like you have, they are $29.00, and come in red, blue, and white

if you are operating now in a winter cold area I would install the OEM air filter as built. when the warm weather comes then install this cold air intake. many have issues with this cold air intake in the snow/cold weather. with temps over 90 deg f this cold air does help.

When I reoil mine I let it dry over night and reinstall in the morning.. Plenty of time....Don't forget to clean your MAFS about 1 week afterwards...
