2008 vs. 2009 Is there a difference?

Looking for various aftermarket items for my 2009 2500HD 6.0.

    Regular cab, long bed.

I still do not see many options for exhaust systems etc for the 2009 model year.

Does anyone out there know.....is there really any difference between the 08 and 09?

Can I order an exhaust kit for an 08 and have it work on my truck?

    Thanks,

My buddy put an '08 Silverado 5.3 cat back on his '10 Silverado 5.3 and it bolted up perfect. Can't say 100% that it is the same for the 6.0, but I would assume an '08 exhaust would work.

    Good luck!

The 2007-2008 trucks have a flat flange with two bolts after the catalytic converter to bolt the rest of the system up. The 2009 and newer trucks have a round fitting with a band clamp after the cat.
