    My First post!
Just picked up a 2012 burb and about a week later found out i bought on with a 3.08 rear end, crap!

Bought the truck for pulling my toys around, found out the 3.08 is rated at only 5000lbs....the 3.43 is rated at 8100lbs.

So at the very least i would like to repalce to a 3.43, but would prefer a 3.73.

Guestion is, how hard and expensive is it on the newer trucks. Any input would be appreciated.

Since it is a 2012 I would have the dealer do the work..And put the Locker in....

I agree, I would do 3.73 but your probably going to want to get bigger tires for the extra gearing. Not a cheap job
