Im watching this as we speak. Hopefully they changed the interior a lil bit
I would of tagged you but didn't see you on line. sorry
its all good man. thanks for the link tho
I like, I like allot........................
i like the crew cab with the reg box.. they have alot of great technological advancements on it too. chevy doing big things.
I like it but I haven’t heard a lot of people complain about the variable engine now, too big of a lag in performance. I think I said this right. With my aggressive driving style, I would rather use more gas than have a lag because it is engaging cylinders.
Anyway around that or am I wrong?
I too am more about the performance. I hope they make it available without that feature. :glasses:
What I heard on that live show was ALL the new engines have been updated to this.
It is a truck! Not a smart car. If you don’t want to spend the money on gas don’t buy a truck. I spend a lot. More than my truck payment but don’t hear me complaining about it. Maybe make it an option to have it.

That and the new extended cab door I don’t like. I loved everything else
Okay I just watch the whole video and first thoughts are it is an upgrade. FINALLY the truck sides has shape, its just not curved with molding slapped on. The body is definitely great looking and the front end looks good but not a fan of the black headlights. The only thing I do not really like is the back bumper, I am sorry the corner steps kill it; much rather have a smooth bumper.
I like the looks of it all exept for the grille and the headligts, i just dont like those.
The engines should be better then the current ones. I'd like to see real world numbers though. I like the bumper step. I hope someone makes a kit to do it to the 07-13 trucks. I hate the fact they're getting rid of the suicide doors on the extended cab. I love unloading my truck in the garage with those doors.
The doors are great if no one parks near you. Try loading a car seat back there with a car next to you. It is nearly impossible to open the drivers door, then the suicide door, then get the carrier in.
"There is nothing core to our business than our trucks!" - That's a strong statement by the guy at the top of GM about the Silverado.
I've come across that issue a few times but I try to park away from people so no one parks next to me.
that front/back comparison is nice. still not sure what i think of them.
I do the same. It never fails that some moron parks out in BFE with you
I really like the exterior, I am not as fond of the interior.
I can't wait to see it with a non black interior.
FYI, the 2014 Silverado will have an available console as well.
