Hey everyone i was just curious to see what everyone say's with this setup. The rims are Fuel hostage chrome 20x12 -44 offset 6on5.5 and the tires will be super swamper m16's 33/12.50/r20. I have a 7.5 inch lift and a guy on gmfullsize had this setup with 20x12's and 33's and was a 08 silverado just like mine. The guy said he just cut the plastic fender well liners and knocked in the metal on one corner but you can't even tell. I really want this tire and wheel combo but will cost 3 Grand! I know 35's with 20x12's want work but i do believe a 33 12.50 will work just like the guy said but want to know what yall think! Thanks Jake

Jake it sounds like it would look nice. That will leave a lot of wheel well open though.

I like the hostages, and the 20's, but I am iffy on the x12 rims, b/c I am not a huge fan of that wide of a rim due to the tire looking alittle stretched and having worries about curbing the rims even with 33's. But I think you are right when you say it will work. But that it comes down to personal choice and the amount of money you want to spend. But either x12 or x10 wide rims it will look good on your truck.

But this is why I like the x10 on 33's

yeah i think 33s will be kinda small but doesnt look bad though. i might just get 35 12.50 super swamper m16s and sometime get this setup just depends.

i was looking at running the same thing but im not sure if i was going to need more lift. but im ordering a set of 22x11 hostage i think if it will fit 35 on my lift.
best bet is to go to gm ful size and look at the cen-cal trucks they are all pretty much runing that setup over there

Yeah that's where i got my ideas from haha and my buddy has a setup like that but he said he still had to do some trimming though. Idk if i'm going with this setup yet because it will cost me 3grand and dont want to spend it right now. I wil know at the end of the month when i get another 3,500 bonus but my rims and run down tires i can sell for atleast $600.

I would go with the 35s man. That is just my opinion, your truck is just really talll and would look better with the 35s'

A 33 will look clean and I know for a fact you won't be rubbing with a 33
