    All Clues:
    - It's a whole number
    - Someone has guessed within 20
    - The first digit is 1
    - There are four digits total.
    - The last digit rhymes with ate.

    New Clue: There are FOUR digits in the number.

    All Clues:
    - It's a whole number
    - Someone has guessed within 20
    - The first digit is 1
    - There are four digits total.

    WOW, getting close.

    I'll speed thing up once we get to 2,000 views on that thread. I may kick in some bonus cash too and we can do this again.

    hah, someone finally put it to a system.

    - By giving that the last number is 8 that takes 90% of the possible numbers out of the pool.
    - By giving that the first number is 1 that takes 50% of the possible numbers out of the pool.
    - Adding those constraints together means that it's between 1008 and 1998 and it can only end in an 8, so that's a total of 100 possible numbers.

    - By giving that someone has guessed within 20 means that you can do a chart and figure out who guessed what and how much off they are, then guess inside those numbers.
