Has anybody taken out a 1500 series cluster and replaced with the 2500 series cluster with the tranny temp indicator? I have a 04 Sub 1500 and I would really like to make this upgrade. Can you just add the temp gage to the original cluster by removing the backing section or does the whole cluster have to be replaced with the mileage and hours. I understand it would have to be the gas 6.0 or 8.1 engines.
