My 1988 K2500 4X4 Ext cab long bed 350TBi with a 5spd manual tranny has a bit of a "leak" issue.. I am loosing fluid out of the top of the tranny where the shifter is mounted to the tranny.. I am wondering if there is a gasket that can be replaced up there?? With out dropping the whole darn thing out of the truck?
Right now it leaks a bit i thought it was actually coming from the transfercase seam, and or the rear seal etc.. I wasnt very sure So i crawled up under there when i was doing the starter to get a close look to make sure. As i said its not enough fluid for me to really worry about however i would like to resolve the issue.
