Hi. My 1990 2500 suburban Burns up antifreeze. Its not leaking anywhere any ideas on what the problem is? I know it has to be something in the cooling system I just am not sure what. It also just got a new battery, and is going to be getting a new starter here in a couple weeks. Any advice on why its burning anti freeze would be helpfully. Thanks

Get some UV dye for coolant systems and put in there. Then hit it with a UV light to see if there's an external leak. With an external leak, depending on where it is, it could well burn off before it hits the ground and you'd see nothing. If not, it's probably a slight head gasket leak.

Using a cooling system pressure tester is the only way to go. You can loan the tool from any parts store and just pay a refundable deposit

That will tell you if there is a leak, but not where the leak is.
