I came across a 1988 3500 dually crew cab 3+3 sequoia edition today (with a little tepee on it) and considering buying it. Its got the 454, good tires, 91,000 original miles. the main thing is it needs a dipstick tube (the original one was kinked) its still on the truck but needs to be changed out. brakes are good all the lines look good and theres alomost no rust. is there anything major thats known to go on it or anything I should look for minus the usual stuff?

Not really that is the older body style correct? thought the 1ton wasnt updated till 89, but ive been wrong. Those really are great reliable trucks that are fairly easy to work on and if there isnt much rust will last for a very very very long time.
