I want to put 15 in wheels on my 2wd s-10, it has standard 14 in 5 bolt .Would a 15 x7 rim work ? or would it rub against the tierod ?

15x7's Will fit without rubbing. I've got 15x8's on my 87 with no rubbing at all. Even try looking for some Camaro or Firebird rims from the 70's up to the early 90's. They will bolt right on. Now, the size of tires is another question. I'm running 225/60/15's with room for slightly larger tires.

I had 15in Amercan racing type 26's on my 88 lifted S-10 with 33 in tires. I also had cut out fender flairs on it...

Note to self Find pics of your old trucks...
