Have a 1993 cheyenne 1500 with a manual transmission that just started acting up today. Up until today I have not noiced any probems, but today the truck did not feel like it was getting all the way into gear, not in any one gear either, all the gears felt like they were not going all the way in. Then when I went to back into the drive way, it wouldn't even stay in reverse, the shifter keep popping out. So to back into my driveway i had to hold it in reverse. When i get into the driveway i want to run it through the gears just to see how it feels, the thing wont budge out of reverse. My drive way is on a slope so i let off the break with the clutch in and i dont coast. After messing with it, i got it out of reverse and now it is going through the gears fine, going all the way into gear and seems to drive fine. So what the heck is going on here?! Clutch? slave cylinder? Hyraulics need bleed? fluid need replaced?
