Ok i have a 95 k1500 z71. I have decided to do an engine swap on it with either a ls1/2 or a lt1. If i did this what would i have to do as far as ecm goes or do yall think i should do a carb conversion to it.

Yea I was thinking of doing the same thing.I have the 4.3 in my 92 and my limitations were weight and torque. The ls1/ls2 weight was around 390 and the torque for the ls1 around 350.Im going with an ls1 when I can bank it just so I can keep the nv3500 trany.Doing the searching to make sure the block and trany will mate corectly, fit the moter mounts and avoid suprises. These engines require there own ECM and stock stuff wont do.
