96 GMC Surb Bad Rearend Looking to replace the whole thing What will fit? The gearing is 3.76 on a 1500 4X4. I think it would be easier to get a used rearend. Not shure what will fit.
    Thanks PKBell

1988-1998 GM Trucks (Sierra, Silverado K1500 only) and 1992-1999 (and a few 2000s floating around out there) Suburbans and Yukons, and Fullsize Blazer K1500 Only. You will have to transfer over the ABS stuff from your 96 rear axle to keep your ABS on the 1988-1994 model rear axles.

X2 on above, just make sure you use the same gear ratio on the replacement, you would be suprised how often that happens. If they do not match, they do not turn.
