Looking for a dashboard for a 98 Tahoe. Where is a good place to start. (I have a cover on it but the cracked dashboard rattles)

    Thanks

LMC Truck has them for $999.95 plus freight. The best place to go is a boneyard. You can probably score one for about $200 or so. Then, putting it in will be a ROYAL pain in the dupa. Is the dash cracked along the defroster vents where the top 3 screws run through to secure it to the firewall? LMC also makes a kit to fix that. I just got some small "L" brackets from the local hardware store and inserted them like washers. Works great! no more rattle. the ones from LMC are a bit more refined and look a bit more OEM.

    Thanks,

Have used LMC for my 85 Blazer with no complaints. 1K is a little much. The dash is broke in 1/2 and broken at all 3 fasteners on the top. Called a couple of local yards but no luck but its not a emergency.

Used the small L brackets from the hardware store. JB weld the brackets in and JB weld the broken pieces back together.

Put nice cover over it. Looks good, no rattle..

    Thanks
