I am slowing going through this beast and looking for things that will burn me later.

There is a single drop of oil coming from the front differential on the yoke side.

How big of a bear is it to change the ring on this? How do I check fluid levels, for that matter put fluid in?

I know on a regular diff, there is a plug/cap that you can take off and as long as you can touch oil, your good. But I cant find such a thing on this.

    Any suggestions?

I've never seen a diff without a fill plug. They are on one side or the other of the diff.

What Ted said plus its probably covered in grease/dirt. Poke around with a scribe and you will find the plug. If you don't have the experience or tools to do the yoke seal I recommend a local shop then.
