Hello guys,Have a 2000 z71 xtended cab, with 5.3l.Today ABS light came on and when I stopped and turned off the ignition I could hear an electric motor running with the key off.Disconnected battery to make it stop.No noticeable braking problems.Could I have a abs module bad or wheel sensor or what.Any advice appreciated...

Could be the module.. The next time that you go out to the truck you need to pull the ABS fuse before you drive it to ensure that the ABS doesnt kick on when you are trying to stop. That will also allow you to keep the Battery connected..
But you do need to have it scanned while you are driving it.. A local shop should be able to facilitate that and that will allow you to troubleshoot if it is a sensor or a module..

Also let us know what you find out, so other people can learn some more as well since this is a very common problem on these trucks..
