    Hey Guys!

New to the forum and glad I found this one! Sounds like a lot of good discussion on the site.

I have a question about my braking system that maybe someone can answer.

I cannot bleed my rear brakes. I open up the bleed valves on the caliper and nothing comes out. I disconnected both lines going into the ABS pump and fluid comes out of both lines when I pump the brake peddle.

I connect those lines back to the ABS pump and disconnect the line that "exit" the ABS pump. When I pump the brakes, fluid only comes out the exit port going to the front brakes.

So it looks like the ABS pump has somehow shut down the rear brake lines.

Someone told me that if the ABS system detects a leak in the front or back brake lines that it will shut down that side of the ABS pump so it doesn't lose all the fluid.

    Is that correct?

Assuming I can find a leak and repair it, how do I get the pump working again to allow fluid to pass through?

    Thanks in advance!
