I have a 1999 chevy C1500 and the ABS light is on, How do I fix/diagnose it? I've also heard of an ABS sensor and that you can clean it and sometimes it will clear the problem, where would the ABS sensor be?

The front abs sensors are located in the front wheel hubs. A they have a small allen screw that holds them in. Just follow the wire near your brake line you will find it. A lot of times the hub goes bad and destroys the sensor. See if you know someone who can scan it for you. I don't think that autozone can pull abs codes
