I have finally gottn my solid axle swaped 2001 z71 road ready. I used the driveshaft, spring packs, steering box, and front+rear axles off of an 08 F-250. It has 12" of suspension, 4.56 gears and 38.5 boggers. I drive this truck everyday and mudride all of the time. I am looking to build ladder bars since i built the entire truck myself and like to be able to say it was all built not bought. The question i am asking is would long bars serve me better than short and for lifted mudtrucks is it better to use bolt bushings or hime joints?? Thank you for any comments and advice.
