Aftermarket Rear Disk Brakes for 99 Tahoe

    Has anyone installed the rear disk kit from SSBC or others.
    Wanted to know if it helped with the ridiculously spec'ed factory setup.

    You mean Stainless Steel Brake Corportation? They have some good quality stuff it looks like.

    Yep, they have been around for a while too. Another GM major embarrasment (70's Corvette Brakes) put them in business.

    I say go with Baer Brakes, they make a good product that gets good reveiws, is simple enough to put on (except for one step in the process that is), and they have a warranty on their product... And I think the standard package for the old tahoe's is a 4-piston single peice cast aluminum caliper... it's spiffy!!!
