I was thinking about getting a remote starter for my truck. My wifes car has one and it is the best thing ever on hot or cold days. i was wondering how easy the installation is and how reliable some of them are. I also dont have any of the factory key fobs, so i was looking to get one that has the lock/unlock feature built in. Thanks for your help.

You can get them for as little as $80 and up - just depends on the features you want. If your truck does not have power accuators for your door locks you would need to install them for each door lock in addition to the remote start.

I am sure the LS came with power locks however :)
