    Hello all,

I have a 01 silverado, i just got it a few months ago. It has a alarm on it that i dont know if its stock or aftermarket. normal fob with unlock, lock , and panic only. but when i turn off the truck, the alarm activates in about 60 seconds all the time. It drives me nutz cause when i am vacuuming the truck out. the alarm keeps activating , and i trip it cause it has like a vibration sensor or something where if the truck rocks at all the alarm goes off, so every 60 seconds while cleaning the truck I have to deactivate the alarm, or leave the truck running. Some people told me if the doors are open it shouldnt activate but it does no matter what unless the truck engine is actually running.

If it is factory , does anyone know how i can make adjustments to it? if its not , do you know how i can tell what brand it is?

    Thanks all,
    Dave
