Those particular ones are for 1999-2002 silverados and 1999-2007 sierras. They will fit the silverados all the way through to 2007 though, just without the marker light that the 2003-2007 trucks have on them.

I have seen those lights before - I think it was on fullsizechevy. If I recall correctly, there were very few of them made and they are very hard to get a hold of. I honestly can't help you as far as where to get those. I had looked myself at one point when I had my silverado and turned up nothing. I expect that if you do find a set, you might have to pay a pretty penny to get them because they are so rare.

You must have got them when they had just come out and were easier to get. If you track down another set, I would suggest putting a tailgate lock on your truck as well. That way nobody can steal your tailgate or your lights.

So, are these GM product? Or aftermarket? They look very nice. I am debating on getting a set now, that or just going with the LED taillights.

They're aftermarket. I agree they are very nice... just very hard to find. Especially considering you're up here in the great white north with me. I find craigslist in the states is much better than kijiji for finding parts like this.

I'm in Alberta, Canada. I know ippielb is up here somewhere too, but I don't know exactly where. We have craigslist but nobody uses it. Kijii (what is now eBay classifieds in the states) is our classifieds site here, but it doesn't have nearly as much good stuff as craigslist

I've thought of that. My biggest issue is that there is no buyer protection or anything on craigslist and I don't trust people to send me my stuff after I've sent them the money. I check craigslist in Arizona once in a while because my aunt has 2 vacation properties there so there's family down there fairly often.

I live in Saskatchewan right now, but i am moving to BC for snowmobiling during the winter months. Then back to Saskatchewan for the summer.

i agree we have Kijiji, but there's also used.com that is pretty common for the Regina area. usedregina.com

That's not a bad deal you got then to get them at just over half price. Just out of curiosity, what are you running for red bulbs in those? They do look good on your truck though. I would have liked a set when I had my silverado - I think they would look good on red. It's too bad nobody makes lights like that for the avalanche.

usededmonton.com isnt very popular unless you're looking for headlights, keyless entry remotes or some sort of $123 magic module that turns water into hydrogen and makes your ordinary car run on 50% hydrogen:rofl:. I've found some good deals on kijiji... you just have to watch it long enough.
