My partner and I ski alot on wakeboards. Average speed,, 20 mph.
The throttle is about 1/3 open. RPM is about 2100
I know that this is not full load . Specially at 1/3 throttle.
Boat mechanics say boat either idle or are at full load. They haven't skiied with me.
I was able to lighten up the Mech. springs, and the engine is cooler, pops up with less throttle , and is getting better gas mileage.
I do much timing test while boat is under load to be safe.
Anyone out there put vacuume advance on a boat?
I'm open to ideas. Got to save the buck.
Boat is an inboard 350 sbc . Standard 260 hp.
