Any good old school brush guard recommendations for a 1987 Chevy truck?

Want something that either looks like a military CUCV brush guard or grill guard for a 1987 Suburban. Preferably not chrome, this is for mounting lights and actual use, not posing. What do you all use for real world. Also, not into the replacement bumper or Ibis Tek type of bumpers.

Photos to come soon. Found a cheapie black grill guard from a famous online seller. Fits the contour of the metal bumper and uses the original bolt holes. Fits 1973-1987 Chevy full size trucks. Once I get all the lights on, pics will be on here.
