Anyone feel like doing a fuel filter write up?

I would truly appreciate it if someone could take a little bit of their time to do a write up in the How To section about replacing a fuel filter. I'm guessing almost everyone here regards that as a no-brainer, mechanics 101 type repair but for someone that's never done a suburban filer change it would be greatly appreciated!

I just picked up the filter at the auto parts store with the thoughts of changing the one that's on there now seeing as I have no idea when the last change was made.

    Thanks!

The filter replacement is well coverer in various service manuals. Here's an extract for your Suburban. About the only thing that isn't obvious is relieving fuel system pressure. This is done by venting the gas filler cap. Good luck.

Close! That's a fuel pump replacement.

Still a great write up, though!
