I need some input from yall with 36" tires or bigger...I know i should change the gears but if your running 36"s or bigger and stock gears of 3:73 could you let me know how it has affected your performance/ gas mileage?

I plan to switch the gears no matter what but am wandering if i have the tires on for awhile with stock gears how its going to affect the truck!

The transmission and motor will most probably lug pretty good. I'd imagine with those big tires you're reducing the gear ratio to 3.08s or lower....

36's with stock gearing would be a dog, no pick-up or power and mileage would be probably around 10mpg or worse.
Truthfully I'd wait on the lift and tires until I could get the gears in, your asking for problems by trying to run tires that big on stock gears.

yea the truck is gonna be a pain to drive with those tires. i would say replace with a 4.56 to 4.88 gearset
